John was a member of the Botany Cemetery board and would appreciate anyone wanting to make a memorial donation in his memory to consider the Botany Cemetery Fund. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimers Society of CK, or to Burk Cemetery would be appreciated. Bruce left school young to start work on Tug CJWeaver as a Commercial Fishermen which he loved , until Govt Quotas were cut , then he went to work in Marine Construction as a Deckhand, then bettered himself by becoming a Tug Boat Captain of which he was quite proud .
